About Me: Welcome to the John Grimes Insurance Agency! Prior to opening my Agency in Roanoke Rapids I worked as an Agent Team Member in Florida and as a Agency Field Specialist in Oregon. I had the opportunity to open my own office in August 2011 and it’s been a pleasure getting to know the great neighbors of Roanoke Rapids, NC. We have a great team that works hard to serve you and your family. We are not only happy to help our friends in Roanoke Rapids but will gladly assist our neighbors in Halifax, Henrico, Littleton, Enfield, Gaston, Garysburg, Scotland Neck, Skippers, Emporia & Henderson as well!

One of my favorite parts about being a State Farm Insurance agent is being able to help all the wonderful families with all their insurance needs. Helping them through lives unexpected moments and preparing them for the future. We also insure many second homes and boats on Lake Gaston and would love the opportunity to take part in making your vacation home a reality. We welcome out-of-state transfers and can help make your transition to the area as convenient as possible by communicating and finalizing your policies entirely by phone or email.

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have a lovely wife and 3 wonderful children. We also have two pets, Jake who is a mini–Bernese Mountain Dog and Winston a Sheepadoodle. In my free time I enjoy going hiking, cooking, running, and cycling. The local community is very important to me, and I try to get involved in as much as I can.
